Wearing Hearts

Awhile ago, I fell in love with this dress I found on ModCloth whilst looking for something to wear to my cousins' wedding. I'm sad to say that I was not able to purchase it at the time, but that didn't mean I stopped looking at it every day leading up to the wedding.

Now, I have actually purchased a dress from them before. This was my first online dress purchase. To put it simply I was worried about how well it would fit. I've gone dress shopping before. That was an experience that kinda left me none to happy with dresses at the end. I would try one after the other. They were beautiful, and my size, or so I thought. I was able to zip them up past my waist and hips. The issue was with my chest. I'm not too big in that area, a B cup. If I sized up the chest area was too big for me. I couldn't find a dress that fit perfectly, so I left without having purchased anything. This was years ago, and from then on I cringed around dresses. I took a chance however when I saw this stunning dress on their site, Ryu Ivory Rose Dress. I loved it at first sight. I wanted nothing else but to wear that dress. Sadly at the time it was out of stock. Luckily for me, a week before the party I was planning to wear it for, it was available again. I ordered it right away.

I worried if it would arrive on time, didn't have to though because it got in on time. (Yeah, I tend to worry a lot.) Well, the moment of truth had arrived. I tried the dress on, hoping with all my might that I wouldn't have to return this beautiful dress. And it fit! I was so relieved. It wasn't too tight around my chest area, and I love the material, it was so light, and delicate looking. It was a bit see through if I had anything dark underneath, but I found a slip to go under it to help. Even with that it still didn't feel tight. I was so happy that day, and the day of the party. I received so many compliments, as did the dress.

So, when it came time to look for a dress again, I went to ModCloth. Found the Heart Over Heels Dress, and bam!  Instant love again. Here's how I would style it. (You can see how much I love hearts.) This would also be perfect to wear for Valentine's Day.
